My husband and I booked the Hotel for a dbl room for 5 nights some time
prior to our travels. We arrived mid-Oct. From a stay in Sardinia; our
grand tour continues until end of Jan. 2014 so we have lots of stuff.
The room held for us was very small @ 100E/night plus 10Epp/day
for simple breakfast. We asked and we offered a great apt. With
kitchenette @140E/day(posted@ 165/day. So we took it , of
course, w/o breakfasts...we can buy lots of suitable food for 20e
daily! The location is wonderful,

Le Castelet Des Alpilles in St. Remy was absolutely, perfectly divine! Our room was spacious, idyllic, surrounded by gardens and flowers with a balcony overlooking the Alpilles mountains. We travelled on the Eurostar for our first time in Aix-en-Provence. The
hotel is really a restaurant with rooms but no less comfortable for
that. Our room was right at the front and so a bit noisy on the Saturday
night but the staff moved us to a lovely ground floor apartment at the
back of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. The staff themselves
were fantastic, the room(s) had everything you wanted, and a very good
restaurant just downstairs! We will go back.

The location was great...very centrally located to be able to enjoy the restaurants and shopping in St. Remy, but also close to surrounding sites like the Roman ruins, Les Baux and surrounding towns. The staff at Villa Glanum were very helpful and welcoming. - The outdoor areas.

We were booked into the Best Western at Arles but when we arrived, they could not accommodate us as there was a noise problem in several of the rooms.
