1. Newly renovated/refurbished; the buildings, rooms, and grounds appeared in top shape.
2. Very pleasant & helpful staff, including room cleaning staff who immediately replaced a burned out light bulb.
3. Wifi included, and it worked well in our room.

My husband and I booked the Hotel for a dbl room for 5 nights some time
prior to our travels. We arrived mid-Oct. From a stay in Sardinia; our
grand tour continues until end of Jan. 2014 so we have lots of stuff.
The room held for us was very small @ 100E/night plus 10Epp/day
for simple breakfast. We asked and we offered a great apt. With
kitchenette @140E/day(posted@ 165/day. So we took it , of
course, w/o breakfasts...we can buy lots of suitable food for 20e
daily! The location is wonderful,

Le Castelet Des Alpilles in St. Remy was absolutely, perfectly divine! Our room was spacious, idyllic, surrounded by gardens and flowers with a balcony overlooking the Alpilles mountains. Innkeeper Roymonde was lovely, attentive, resourceful. What a find! We loved staying in St. Remy, for walking the little town, and for its proximity to sights

The lady at reception accompanied us to our room, and carried my suitcase. The hotel is a nice old building, and only a short walk from town. The breakfast buffet was adequate (6/10).

Easy access to city centre, attractive 16th century property with interesting history, lots of free parking, friendly and informative staff, useful kitchenette in every room, choice of bath as well as shower, good size double bed and quality bed linen, efficient heating system. - Being given an upgrade without asking for it.

Everything - we went on to stay at the Cezanne in Aix en provence afterwards - same price - no comparision we wish we'd stayed hear. Perfect location on the main street of Aix-en-Provence, above an excellent restaurant. Huge clawfoot soaking tub and separate shower, big fluffy towels, very comfy bed. Valet car parking service was great. In-house restaurant was excellent, and we found several more gourmet-level, friendly smaller restaurants within easy walking distance on the

We travelled on the Eurostar for our first time in Aix-en-Provence. The
hotel is really a restaurant with rooms but no less comfortable for
that. Our room was right at the front and so a bit noisy on the Saturday
night but the staff moved us to a lovely ground floor apartment at the
back of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. The staff themselves
were fantastic, the room(s) had everything you wanted, and a very good
restaurant just downstairs! We will go back.

The location was great...very centrally located to be able to enjoy the restaurants and shopping in St. Remy, but also close to surrounding sites like the Roman ruins, Les Baux and surrounding towns. The staff at Villa Glanum were very helpful and welcoming. - The outdoor areas.

Nice hotel staff, very good access to the airport, the coach goes to the airport on demand. The rooms were very clean. It was really nice to stay there. - Very nice, clean rooms. Close to the airport with convenient airport shuttle. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

We had been robbed leaving Barcelona and were very upset. We were booked into the Best Western at Arles but when we arrived, they could not accommodate us as there was a noise problem in several of the rooms. The hotel redirected us to another hotel, the New Hotel, less than half a mile away at exactly the same price.The New Hotel was excellent and we thoroughly recommend it. Full marks to the Best West

The food was delightful as were the staff. The Abbaye was spectacular with views of the region and plenty of walking trails. The location is ideal for day trips. -
