They had hot food (eggs and ham) which I could eat - I am diabetic and stay away from carbs. Good selection of carbs for those who can eat them. Excellent staff. The room was beautiful, the staff extremely courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was great. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our trip and we wished we had stayed longer.

Walkable from the train station on a nice day; less than a 10 Euro taxi fee on departure when it was rain - This was a fantastic location just the other side of the river from the heart of Strasbourg (several of the best restaurants were nearby) the bells ringing, the breakfasts, the staff were the best! There's a cycle rental nearby which was 15euro for a whole week! We had a fabulous time, and in fact extended our stay a night with no problem.

  Great Hotel - Excellent Location. The hotel is just outside of the citycentre. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the Cathedral. The roomwas well decorated and very clean. The bathroom had a double sink andmarble counter top.   Polite, pleasant and helpful staff. Room clean, well equipped except for lack of fridge and ours had a lovely balcony, ideal for soaking up the evening sun! Comfortable bed! Very little road noise. PC available for guests, free teas/coffee in small ground floor TV room/lounge. Very convenient for station, old town, restaurants... handy little bakers/cafe and supermark... what people say » et opposite. - This is a cozy Hotel. Reception staff was nice. It is super convenient to the main train station, 200 meters away, I stayed at the Ibis Styles, to catch an early train the next morning. There's another Ibis Hotel a couple of blocks away. I was glad I wasn't staying there. It was not going to be near as nice as this one.

  The Chateau is unpretentious, nicely renovated and good value. We had an enormous corner room overlooking the river. A very quiet and picturesque area. The owners and staff are very friendly. Finding dinner was challenging however, the A la Ferme hotel in Osthouse has an excellent bistro and restaurant. It is situated in superb grounds which included a lake, chapel and river! It was everything we had hoped for (and a lot more!). If you are a couple looking for a romantic place to stay in the Alsace region, then this is the place to stay.

  The hotel is beautifully situated, in the midst of fields and vineyards. We stayed in a family room and there were a couple of ruined mountaintop castles visible from our window. The building was also very pretty, with a lovely lounge and restaurant. The room itself was large and airy.   The hotel is beautiful. It was much nicer than the pictures showed. The only rooms available were the junior suite and after we saw it we were so glad we paid extra for it. The room was beautiful and large and worth the extra price. Everything at this hotel is pristine and reaps with French charm.
