What people say
The service is very professional. The folks at the reception counter were very friendly and were able to provide useful information on the town centre. The room we had is big, clean and child friendly. Totally enjoyed our stay at the service appt. Thanks. The staff were very helpful and receptive! The first apartment was veryworn and dirty, and they immediately upgraded us to a new apartment justdown the road!. all reviews »
staff were very friendly. Room was clean and very modern . Not one thing to complain about. Would stay there again. Location is excellent. Room is modern and comfortable. For the price, I was willing to stay the extra few blocks away from centre. Very nice neighborhood and very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were like a 1 bedroom studio apartment. All new, kinda of sparce furnishings but very nice for families. Spacious. We were very satisfied with the hotel in general; also the parking was great and most of all - safe. It was very close to the train estation. Very nice , close to centre. The walk to the city center was somewhat long but we needed a car park and the one at this hotel was the best: very secure. The room was better than the discription. The price was reasonable and the location is good. It was very clean and the bathroom is modern.Close to town, clean, safe parking. Easy approach to the city center. Good parking possibility.Modern furnishing of the rooms and the kitchen facilities. The hotel staff is English speakers.Very nice staff, good location. Friendly staffs. Was Good... However, previous day I tried to call them for an extra bed, the receptionist guy was bit hard and rude. They didnot provide information on available extra bed. Nice kitchen facilities. Lots of space in the salon. Nice sized dining room table. Pretty good location as it was close to the train station and a short walk from a large shopping mall; 15 min walk to downtown.Close to the city center. clean. The lady in the reception during my chike in , the security systim, thesmall kitchen, the parking area. Price was very reasonable. Room was spacious and attractive.Clean, new rooms. 1. Distance to city center (given the relatively low price). 2. The rooms (*** only!) are pretty new, so is the inventory. 3. You are allowed to smoke inside!. The price, only 10 minutes to the center, for other rooms with lesscomfort and much smaller we sometimes paid twice as much. large rooms (suite junior), comfortable, new furnitures. Staff was nice. The hotel is functional, however not really a good location for a holiday stay. We stayed en-route to Calais and so for one night was perfect. The rooms are tidy and clean and have all the facilities needed for an overnight stop. The location is good. The rooms are really big. The appartment was new and newly furnished and not too far from the city center.design is good -space, colours etc. The first place, which is where we were initially booked, was notnice at all!. Wi-Fi should be complimentary. my reservation wasn't there when i got there. No tea or coffee making facilities even though it had akitchenette with cups. Due to so many one way streets we drove around for a while until we were right in front. The second bed was not very comfortable. Only very small towels available, TV not functioning, damp toilet, problems with access card. Parking free of charge. small number of foreign (at least English) TV channels. They didnot provide information on available extra bed in internet. The receptionist guy was rude in answering, however, the next day the lady was quite friendly. The double "bed" in the salon was an old style futon with a mattress that was only about 3 cm thick and was 2 cm from the floor; it was very uncomfortable to lie on and to get up out of. The two beds in the bedroom were two singles pushed together. They weren't even made up as one large bed for a couple. Also the staff were smoking in the office that served as the reception desk.neibourhood. The hot water in the path room. The hotel staff were not aware of our reservation, and so our rooms were not ready and we could not check in until 4pm. The "bed" was not comfortable; we stayed in a studio apartment and it appeared to be a futon that folded out into a bed. The bathroom door had to be kept shut or the sound of water (draining from tubs?) from the bathroom(s) above ours would have kept me awake all night. We had to pick up our keys at another hotel down the block. Staffnot located in the building. Breakfast was too expensive for whatthey served. There are no curtains at the windows, except for the very thick and dark ones, otherwise during the day everybody from the offices opposite the street can look into the room. No intimacy. 1. The keys were not working, so the lady at the reception had to "buzz" us in every time we wanted in our room. 2. Neighbourhood not the best (not really a problem for me, but might be good to know for others). 3. Outside view = Rail way -> would not like to stay there in summer regarding the useless balcony and the noise when sleeping with opened windows. First they told us, the room will be ready at 3 P.M. then we had to waituntil 6.pm. But as a revanche we didn´t have to pay for the breakfastthe first day (4 persons). So it was ok. The neighbourhood is not so beautiful-but regarding to the attractive price and the near city it is ok. not enough chairs nor spoons in the room !. Not really the cleanest rooms. Staff were a little on the rude side. Not the most friendly of places we stayed in.There is a problem with the hot water, because of the electric system. Sometimes, you have to wait 2 hours for hot water. The fridge did not work but the receptionist offered to take our food in her fridge. We found dead bed bugs in the baby cot and on the futon! We had a horrible night...Computer down so we could not be issued with a key; only one bulb of a three-bulb light fitting worked; no plug for one of the inadequate lamps; heat was not on; only a low futon to sit on apart from plastic dining chairs; television suspended high on wall; total lack of comfort so we left the following morning. cold floors; nowhere to hang my coat or dress, hot water running out while I was in a bath, not giving me the bill when they said they would. Internet is not available in all buildings but they tell you only after you buy the access card and complain that you did not find any network! You arrive in the morning and they let you wonder in the streets until 3 pm, at least they don't show any good intention to prepare a room earlier. It's hotel policy to check in after 3 pm but at least they should be nicer and goodwilling. It is spacious and yet extremely uncomfortable ( shabby curtains insufficient to give shade from the sun but making impossible to open the windows. No hair dryer. Only two chairs in a suite supposed to accomodate 4 people. Nothing suitable for making tea or coffee in the kitchenette. No mirror except a small one in the bathroom. TV set in an akward position and very poor choice of channels). it was on the train tracks!!!!! ridiculous. you could hear every single time a train went by. room not clean when we got there. we had to see them to reset our key every time we wanted to go in- it wouldn't work. we had to wait a long time at the reception desk to check in- the woman checking us in took another phone call and stayed on the phone for 15 minutes with a fellow employee!!.
