  We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. It is very convenient for travellers who like to focus on old historic city as it is only some minutes away but make sure you need to be fit to climb ... what people say » up the rock floor.. - Space. It was pretty big the apartment for my famility to stay (couple + 1yr old baby + 3 yrs. old child). The location was perfect. Very close to the castle. The access is very good to go walking. Not recomended to go to the castle with the baby trolley but this has nothing to do with the hotel/appartment. Very very good price/quality ratio.

  The first thing you notice when you arrive at the Clarion Suites-Ile de Gua, is how quiet and peaceful the area is. The hotel staff was very helpful and assured us we were not too late for dinner.   Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! Very easy walk to old cite and easy drive from motorway for daytrips around area. Cathy is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeously set up. Beds comfortable, huge shower... what people say » s. Our Wifi wasn't working at one point and Cathy fixed the problem straight away. Food at the tapas restaurant below was also delicious! Be aware thi - The helpful and friendly staff. The location, which is adjacent to La Cite and within easy walking distance of Carcassonne. The room was well equipped and spacious. The tapas in the restaurant was excellent. I cannot fault Le Passage

Our room had one large room with a smaller side room and pull-out bed and they brought in a crib. W - Chateau de Blomac is a gem. The women who owns it wonderfully helpful in many ways and has created a wonderful small hotel in an old chateau. We stayed in 15 small chambres d'hotes on our trip to France and this was our favorite. The décor of the old chateau blends modern comfort with traditional French style. She has thought of all the details The grounds are beautiful with a wonderful terrace and relaxing infinity pool.
