Very family friendly staff and amazing property. You must understand the pro's and cons before coming here to appreciate it. If you're looking for elevators, HD TVs, and a gym you'll be very disappointed, go stay in a Holiday Inn. If you'd like to stay in a beautiful chateau in the small French village in the countryside, then you'll love it.

Chateau de Blomac is a gem. The women who owns it wonderfully helpful
in many ways and has created a wonderful small hotel in an old chateau.
We stayed in 15 small chambres d'hotes on our trip to France and
this was our favorite. The décor of the old chateau blends modern
comfort with traditional French style. She has thought of all the
details The grounds are beautiful with a wonderful terrace and relaxing

This was exceptionally good. From the welcome, to the room, to the food. All were excellent. It was the little things, such as access to a community fridge with wine and water, that made the stay of one night really enjoyable, homely and friendly. We received an excellent welcome from the owner who supplied us with full information about the area which we wouldn't have got from a travel book.
The chateau has been restored into a contemporary hotel with excellent fittings and wi fi. Our suite was very large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from Carcassonne. It is worth visiting the Canal du Midi at Trebes and the picturesque Legrasse.

Dennis made us very welcome and has a beautiful B&B. the room we said in was large and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Excellent place to wonder through Homps. Great place to start our Canal du Midi trip. Will definitely return and to Dennis thank you and by the way your wine was very enjoyable.

Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay!
