The gentleman on the front desk was very helpful when I needed to print train tickets in the middle of the night, and spoke excellent English. The place was comfortable and quiet. location near la Place Nation and access to the Metro and the RER direct to Charles DeGaulle Airport. Friendly staff at the very small desk. Quiet and near good restaurants. Location is perfect! It's only 3 minutes away from METRO and PER lines. Near hotel are supermarkets and nice pubs. Streets are quiet.
all reviews » The location is amazing and has easy access to the metro. It also has a good supermarket for some food and water supply. It was a close proximity to a very good Metro Station. Quite a few restaurants in the area. The beds were the most comfortable things i have ever slept in. Location is perfect. Shop nearby. Location Bed Bathroom. it was very near to the Metro and only 2 stops to Gare du Lyon for my train to the south. as a woman travelling alone,the young man who worked in the evening when I checked in at 6pm was charming and helpful. as mentioned before it is typical of a two star hotel so I did not expect the Ritz!. The hotel is situated in the calm place close to 3 lines of subway and RER line "A". Near hotel there are supermarket and cafes. close to the metro, location is perfect, easy to get to the RER - to the airport Charles de Galles. Clean room, new bathroom. nice staff. location. The location. Nothing. Morning Breakfast was Ok . I could faintly hear the person in the next room snoring. It's also quite a long walk from Gare de Lyon (though not far on the metro). No lobby, shabby look about the room and carpets. Bad thing is that in the bathroom was no ventilation. The room size is small. The mattress in my bed was so old it had no "spring" left in the springs of the mattress. My first room was in the corner of the hotel, and therefor did not get a good wifi signal at all. However, they moved me to a new room with better wifi the next day. Lift out of order, broken hair dryer, loose headboard. Nothing specific, and you get what you pay... my bed was made each day, but the bathroom was not touched at all during my stay. The room and especially bathroom was really tiny. Insulation in the room was fair, it was too noisy in the room at night. I paid with a card.Money was withdrawn twice I am afraid, let's see it could just be frozen on my account. The atmosphere is not clean. Noise in the corridor because of the iron doors. Water was running in a narrow stream. Actually it is good to spend a night in. Lift not working, two floors up fire exit to reach room. Cleaning lady was a bit loco, refused to leave an extra toilet roll when the one was two-thirds used. Got two from reception, cleaning lady removed one again! Plus she removed our plastic glasses from bathroom. poor heating basic facilities. When I arrived, the room was overheated, there were no towels, soap and toilet paper. The front desk person on evening duty was not only unhelpful, but also unpleasant. Afterwards I realized there was no need for towels, as in the next two mornings, there was no hot water in the shower. And the wifi never worked! It was cheap, but no good value. Small untidy rooms with no soundproofing. Service and facility is not good. No proper response for any requirements.
