It was very charming and just a few doors down from the Nation Metro Stop (line 2). easily accessible and much cheaper and quieter than the touristy sections of paris. Definitely worth the money!. The hotel staff was very friendly, and helped us in any way they could...Nice place to stay in Paris. Good Price relation. Perfect location! Excellent staff!. There were renovation works going on during our stay which started at about 8.30 am each morning but this did not really bother us.The WC in the room has no seat and we requested one that was installed next day (maybe because of works going on during our stay). Towel service deficient: they would "forget" to change some towels + missing towels. Breakfast was disappointing (croissant not fresh on Sunday, although OK next day, poor bread). At night thre was a strong smell of cigarette smoke and the hotel was at a noisy stree. There was no chance to leave wood in the hotel because the fridge was broken.it was too small. there is not refrigerator in the room. Bathroom was very very small. Hotel is more of Bed and Breakfast kind. Not suitable for family at all. Non english speaking staff. No hot water and coffee/tea facilities for drinking. Eventually we were lodged in the 3rd floor). Sinister hotel decoration. I expected a small room but not one with the bed abutting to the wall on two sides. Bathroom facility so small that spitting into the lavabo required some dexterity. Internet was not working! ( which is one of the reason for chose) towels were dirty and I was not able to use, there were no English speaking receptionist available. Room was too small, television was not working.
