The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Perhaps the most wonderful feature of this hotel is that it is a 5 minute walk to public transport that will go to all of the notable places in Paris. This makes for zero difficulty in getting around. It is also surrounded by shops, stores, restaurants, and on certain days, an open air market.
all reviews The location was most convenient in a colourful and lively area of Paris, near the Gare Montparnasse. It was not too expensive and offered everything we needed. It was clean and the staff were extremely polite and very helpful. friendly staff, helpful. lovely breakfast reception area lovely with internet access room was basic but comfortable really appreciated the television having BBC channels so I could watch the tennis!. thankful for the availability of the PC and intranet in your lobby. Arcondition. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice, but we made due with bread, cheese, and juice from Simply Market down the street. The hotel breakfast was too expensive. In a city, at this price, you don't expect much luxury, but the decor was rather drab, the bathroom very, very small with a door which needed to be planed to shut properly and there was no good reading light (though, to be fair, that is now true of many much more expensive hotels!). the shower cubicle entrance is too small the handle to flush the toilet was not obvious - turned out to be a small blue plastic covered level on the tank slightly above the toilet. can you put the nearest metro stop to the hotel on the website so it is easier to find, I went to Montparnasse and it was a challenge from there. Woman surving breakfast was not very happy to be there. The hotel is a bit shabby and in need of a lick of paint.There was a hole in the bath mat, the shower head was held up by plastic string and there was toilet paper hanging out of the keyhole of the bathroom. room 52 top floor in eves , low sloping ceiling ,dark stuffy but clean, a bit depressing . No soundproofing. hotel stairs & landing needed painting badly!. Bathroom was falling apart Water leak from toilet bowl Shower very inconvenient Bathroom design very poor. Not working wifi, hotel is old and drappy, problems with communication with the staff (very bad English), bathroom extremly small with broken shower, room very small. The damp bedspread on the bed The broken tiles in the bathroom The sticking door of the bathroom The flickering lights The badly fitting tap The disturbance after midnight when someone was locked out of their room. The hotel was filthy dirty, that's not an exauration. There was someone's toe nail clippings under the foot of my bed. The pillow smelt like someone who hadn't washed just slept on it. The bathroom was dirty and the shower didn't work correctly. The floor was buckled and uneven and outside the room the plaster was falling off the walls. I have photos to back up my comments. Disgusting!!!. Mould on the drapes, Stains on the bedsheets. Filty bathroom. The guy at reception needs to be take for some customer care training, unfortunately I never got his name. The shower stall was so small that I ended up washing in the basin. The door to the shower was broken.the pictures on the website are misleading as the hotel is nowhere near what is shown there.
