Hotel reception staff very helpful. i thought breakfast was plentiful, and good value for money at a special price of 6.95 euro (it had been advertised online as 10 euro which was still ok.). the room and common areas were very clean. best of all was the supportive bed for a problematic back. I travel to Paris twice a year, and have stayed at several hotels, and this was by far the nicest (and still affordable). They had given me a free upgrade -- it was a room meant for two, which was reasonably spacious, modern, clean, and quiet. Add to that that the location is excellent. If it is busy time, you need to queue for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't great...suggest to go to one of the many patisseries in the nearby streets. When I left the Hotel I observed that my money (pounds from England) was not in my luggage. I left my money on the desk into the bedroom. It was 200,00 pounds. In the same way, I observed that a eletronic advice was not in my luggage too. All those things are gone during my stay at the hotel. The breakfast was horrible and doesn't worth the price paid. Because of this I had breakfast just one morning. Problems with WIFI. WiFi not working. The doorman at check-in insisted to have all "coordinates" of my credit card instead of simply pre-authorising electronically the card. bathroom small, showerhead was not fixed (so impossible to take a shower). the room is so small, and I can hear everything outside. street noise. The breakfast was of very poor quality for the price. I've stayed in a 2 star hotel in Paris before and the breakfast was a proper continental.
