  The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We ended up getting one of the newly renovated rooms which was gorgeous. It was also the only room with a balcony overlooking Place Massena! It was perfect to listen to the Jazz fest that was going on across the street. Great stay! - we stayed in an non refurbished room (rooms 9 and up have been refurbished), so the bathroom was a bit old and small, but had everything you needed. staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. fantastic location one street back from the promenade and beach, and no steet noise at all at the back of the building.

  Location of this hotel is perfect. It is over the Rue Massena, the loveliest pedestrian street, many bistros and bars,restaurants. Anja was helpful and spoke english very well. Our superior studio located in a different building , with a big bathroom, balcony onto street the room was perfectly equipped. Highly recommended and I will be going - I loved it! Perfect location, the kitchen is very well equipped, the room is quite small but had everything I needed. Even if it is located on a very busy pedestrian street, once I closed the windows, the noise didn't disturb me one bit. I am a light sleeper and I was quite worried that I would be up all night, but I didn't hear any noise. I am planning my next trip to NIce and will be ataying at Ajoupa!

  Beautiful building 15 minutes from the promenade and 10 minutes from the station, very helpful staff who could not speak English which helped improve my French no end. A really charming hotel - Good hotel location.

  I chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the airport (about 10 mins taxi ride away- expect to pay 16-18 euros each way). We arrived at about 2pm, and only noticed upon arrival it had a 5pm check-in. The hotel was great for our needs as we just wanted somewhere to stay for 1 night in Nice that wasn't too far from the airport. The - for low budget price, the service was great. Clean hotel, Owner was perfect. You are about 3 KMS from the old city boardwalk. As long as you know this going in, you are fine. Perfect value for what you pay for. Room is small, but again, it is budget. Great courtyard to wait for people while they get ready. Remember, you are in Nice to be in Nice and not in your hotel room. Room is place just to rest head.

Overall an excellent place to stay, even if it is quite a way from the old town - easy to walk or ride in along the Promenade though. We will stay here again next year.

  This hotel was chosen because it was close to the airport. We turned our rental car in the day before and had an early flight to catch then next morning. We (3) ladies had no problem walking to the airport directly across the street via a special passageway that went under the Main Street. The room was clean....no extras! It had wifi...was very sm... what people say » all but accommodated us. It was far better than sleeping in the airport. The staff at check in we're helpful. They provided directions and recommendat - Location is just WOW if you are coming by flight. if you are coming to Terminal1 then it is a walk for 2 min simple. If you are coming to Terminal 2 then there are free shuttle buses(runs in the night as well till the last flight) from Terminal 2 to terminal 1. These are big blue buses. Just take this bus and get down at stop Lycee Hotelier. Hotel is just 1 min walk. You will see the sign on Luxury Hotel Novotel from far. Ibis and Novotel are attached.
