  The setting was extremely tranquil and building carefully and recently restored. The facilities were very comprehensive; televisions, comfortable bed,nice bath room including sauna. Our request for an extra child bed was kindly met. The host was very welcoming and had bought in milk, bread and jam so we didn't need to go shopping for breakfast. Th... what people say » e nearby village had a restaurant, unfortunately closed for our stay. However, Laon offered a wealth of eating options for the evening as has a beauti - Amazing gite, no expense spared in the design, quality, equipment. Lovely location for a short break. Excellent value, will definitely stay again if we need a stopover in the area.
