  I stayed at Marmotel Etoile for 6 nights because I was attending a conference at the Palais des Congres that is at 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. My primary motivation for choosing this hotel was its close proximity to the conference venue I was going to go to 3 days in a row, and it was dirt cheap relative to the hotel suggested by th... what people say » e conference which was more than twice as expensive. This is Paris, so expensive is a way of life. A big plus was the fact that the 'Argentine' stop o - Un petit hôtel très bien situé avec un personnel et "patronne" super sympathique.Nous avons avec ma femme passé un très bon moment à Paris malgré les intempéries.   very kind staff but not a big english speakers , the room was small but very cozy and well designed (same as the pictures) . location was amazing , a minute walk from the Arc de triumph and the champ elisses , has 2 major metro and rer stations in a walking distance . - Compact in the quadruple room but adequate if you are out all day exploring... what people say » Paris.   The hotel is tiny but cosy. Stuff is very friendly. I felt myself like at home. I recommend this hotel everyone who is comfortable with small space. Room was quite small, but as I stayed alone it wasn't bother me. The location is perfect, it's 5 minutes on foot from Arc de Triomph and the nearest metro. - Kareem at the front desk was very helpful... what people say » and accomodating to us by setting up an early morning taxi pick-up.   Verry calm - The price was right and our hotel room was very clean. The woman at thedesk helped us book a shuttle to the airport since we had to be at theairport before the metros started. Near Champ Elysee and Arc deTriomphe. Eiffel Tower is within walking distance. A minor metro line isvery close and a major metro line is only a bit further away.

They're all willing to help you in whichever doubt you have about the city. The room, even though is not fancy, is enough for what it is used: to sleep. I don't have any complains. The zone is surrounded by supermarkets and cheap restaurants, close to a metro line - The friendly young staff that seem always ready to listen to clients.
