  I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean. We were 2 adults and 8 year old girl, the size of the room was a bit tight but nobody of us comply because we just wanted a clean bed and bathroom a... what people say » nd a room with window.   Found to the hotel to be extremely comfortable. Did not eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. Staff were extremely helpful. Location was quite good. Right beside Galeries Lafayette and alot of other shops but a little further away from the main tourist attractions that I thought.   The location was excellent. The tree lined Rue Tronchet was one of the most beautifully streets we found in Paris. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and had a lot of charm. (I clicked excellent value for money above - this was because we got a good deal. I'm not sure I would have clicked that button if we had paid the price stated on the room information in the hotel! - But then perhaps that... what people say » is because I don't often stay in 4star hotels!) - The situation (between La Madeleine and Galeries Lafayette, nearly Place Vendôme) was really appreciated.
