My room was Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and had everything I needed. VERY short walk to the Metro, restaurants, shopping, and Notre Dame & Centre Pompidou.   Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll.   The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine. We did not speak french but this did not interfere with having a wonderful time in Paris. People were very und - Brilliant location, with in easy walking distance of most central sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel. We felt our room and bathroom were quite spacious for an attic room in Paris. The price we paid was very competitive. We were at the back of the hotel and it was quiet at night.
