The hotel is in the best location with an excellent view from your
balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff couldn't have been more
helpful and the room was very clean. Villefranche-sur-Mer is lovely and
has a train station for travelling to Nice, Monaco etc.

I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular. Very courteous and helpful staff with unassuming manners. - Nice candies :)

The staffs at the reception were really helpful. they know a lot about Nice, where to eat, what to do & even provided us with map and train timetable. The train station to monte carlo on 4 blocks fr the hotel!

We liked the well equipped kitchen. There were cleaning materials
including dishwasher tablets. The parking was very secure with lift
access to the hotel. The only thing was that the decor, although
modern, was a bit dark and the furnishings did not make the room
inviting. There is a large shopping complex containing a Carrefours
supermarket, directly opposite. It is only a 300 metre walk to the tram
stop which is handy.

... what people say » r a family of 4. There is a tramway close by. - This was a fantastic hotel to stay in as we had a toddler with us who loved the pool. Although the prom was a 10 min walk we were so pleased we stayed in the Novotel as we were able to see all areas of Nice with only a short walk. The food, staff and facilities were excellent and if I ever stay in Nice again i will be booking this hotel.
