Close to Chartreuse and Vecors national park areas to the north and west of the city. Also just a few minutes' walk from Grenoble bus/train station and city tram lines. Takes about 10–15 minutes to walk to the old part of the city where most of the tourist restaurants and shops are, but there are a few places to eat nearby. Sleeping room was newly furnished, pristine, nice selection of breads, sides, and beverages at breakfast, elevator, spacious lobby, close to Alps/used as way point to final destination.

Might be OK normally but temperatures that week in mid-July were touching 20°C during the evenings. Tiny bathroom with poor ventilation, only partial glass panel on shower, limited hotel parking/street parking strictly monitored and ticketed, little character. sound proof is not too good, can hear the sound of people walking on corridor, entering door, even some talking in next door room. Overall the space is still a bit cramp but for France standard in a mountain town, not too bad already. The parking space is like an old garage. It is not free. No dislikes, all good. No facilities to make a hot drink. I always like tea facilities in the room and would have been prepared to pay more. Breakfast was not as diverse as hoped - I think it was a timing issue. Luggage storage area did not seem particularly secure. Being woken up at 6am every morning by the preset TV alarm. Nothing ,all was good. -hard to get into parking spots, my car bottomed-out both entering and leaving (Hyundai i30) -room came with air-conditioning, but it barely had any effect in the 35C heat. noise isolation with respect to other rooms not so good. Wifi is available but weak and unstable (my room number was 63), then not very useful. I booked a room with bathtub, though, the bath plug was not clean at the first night and disappeared next day. I could no longer take a bath. Internet was not working well.
