  The house was built in the 15th century so is perfectly rustic. We had the two attic rooms (each had a shower in the room and we shared a hall toilet). The rooms were charmingly decorated to match the historic age of the house. Moderate size rooms - with room to easily walk around beds and place luggage. The beds had plenty of heavy blankets w... what people say » hich made them very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was tea, coffee, juice, fresh bread with butter and jams - at whatever time we desire - the location was good, Giverny is a nice little village that comes alive during the day when the day visitors arrive but in the evening a relaxing place. To get from Vernon train station with luggage take the taxi, which can require a wait as there are only about 3 that we saw. the cafe over the road will order one for you as the taxi stand seemed always empty. your host Eric very accomadating. nice old farm house type rooms, nice for 1 or 2 days.
