What people say
The house was built in the 15th century so is perfectly rustic. We had the two attic rooms (each had a shower in the room and we shared a hall toilet). The rooms were charmingly decorated to match the historic age of the house. Moderate size rooms - with room to easily walk around beds and place luggage. The beds had plenty of heavy blankets which made them very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was tea, coffee, juice, fresh bread with butter and jams - at whatever time we desire. all reviews »
the location was good, Giverny is a nice little village that comes alive during the day when the day visitors arrive but in the evening a relaxing place. To get from Vernon train station with luggage take the taxi, which can require a wait as there are only about 3 that we saw. the cafe over the road will order one for you as the taxi stand seemed always empty.
your host Eric very accomadating. nice old farm house type rooms, nice for 1 or 2 days.
Beautiful building complexes. Old and rustic, yet modern ammenities.
Lovely breakfast no charge in romantic separate kitchen area. Very quiet
and did not hear the other guests. Close to the Rose of France...
Giverny , 5 min walk. Eric and Chrystal delightful hosts. There when you
need them but not hovering too much. Angie Morgan.
It's like a having a home in French Countryside. The owner is very
friendly and helpfull. It's a B&B in a very small street well
structured and with a comun area, where you can bring your things and
have a lunch if necessary.
Eric the owner was friendly and efficient. The attic rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was plentiful with amazing coffee. Pretty courtyard garden and lots of interesting collections around. Will definitely return.

Lovely location very close to the famous Monet garden. The accommodation is very comfortable and the welcome from the hosts was warm and friendly.
We loved the ambience! & The owners are very enjoyable, kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!.
Very relaxed and quiet setting in Giverny. Big gardens; very quiet and regenerating.
Great location, so nice to be in the village that Monet chose for his artwork.
the beautiful rock house was built in 15th century, which is very romantic.
Fascinating place to stay, very old and and a lovely village.
location, setting, building, quirkiness, people.
French village experience.
Staying in a 500 year old house was interesting. Cutely decorated. Martin was of great help in planning next leg of trip.
This is a rustic place, but we liked it. The bed was comfortable and the garden pleasant.
The historical feeling.
The house is in Giverny and easy to get to Monet's garden.
Characterful, rustic. Individual.
Absoulutely nothing! Except one thing , maybe not many night restaurants
open for dinner. However easy to make own food in room.
all was excellent.
Fridge needed a clean.
Stairs were hard to navigate with luggage. No refrigerator available to us.
The chairs in the kitchen need to be replaced. There needs to be a small fan in the room.
Was not so comfortable.
The toilette was primitive: not at all spacy, noisy the water, without facilities even for the used papers....
We had the bedroom downstairs. Our room was filthy and uncared for. The grounds were totally neglected. Breakfast was an ad hoc affair of whatever turns up happens. The place is very badly managed and we will not go back.
Spartan, a little basic and cramped.
