Room was compact but there was everything we needed. Nice to find a bath/shower. Hairdryer in bathroom. Kettle, tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant which did not give the impression of "budget". Also nice sitting area at the front of the hotel. Secure car park that is locked at night (key codes for late/ early arrivals and departures). Short walking distance for local hypermarket and restaurants (very good chinese buffet recommended by the receptionist). Mi.
all reviews » I was going to arrive late, and I was called with the gate security details and the room number. I arrived 15 minutes before lockup, and everything was set for me to stay. I needed to leave very early the next morning and again everything was smooth. I've used this hotel before as a place to stay after a long journey before catching a eurostar, and it's very convenient and used to travellers arriving late and leaving early. The rooms are small, but all I care about it that the room is quiet and. Location for ferries or tunnel excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Room very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities which are not often available in budget hotels, excellent and would choose this hotel over others that do not provide this. Most comfortable bed in a hotel and extra pillows provided. Good breakfast facilities. Security, loved the gate locking at night. The staff very friendly. Food at night superb but strange that restaurant closes at weekends . Central and easy to find. I stayed in twin room with my ten yr old daughter and she enjoyed organising the small but sufficient room and the owner was lovely with her. Excellent value for money. The room were clean and quiet, we got the rooms we reqested this was two twins and two doubles. We had coffee and tea making with extras if required.they even telephoned me to let me know that they were closing the gate at 10 pm and gave me the room numbers and gate lock code to get in just in case we were arriving late. This is a small hotel easily accessible from the main road routes and in a good position to offer overnight accommodation for the Euro Tunnel. It offers a good range of facilities including an on-site restaurant. It was clean and the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English for those who require this. The location is perfect for the Euro Tunnel with plenty of parking which is secure overnight. Clean, comfortable rooms ideal for a stop over for travelling to or from uk. Good choice of continental breakfast, however meats and cheeses could have been offered and price on the expensive side. We live in Newcastle Upon Tyne, so it is a long trek just to get to the Ferry, so use this hotel as a stop over before the next lot of travelling on the French side or vice versa. Great location for a break, close to Cite Europe and also a large Hyper Market down the road too!. All you needed was there, including a bath and toiletries and a kettle - unusual for a budget hotel. Staff tried very hard to help sort our problems with the reservation, but to no avail. If you want an overnight on the way to England via Eurotunnel, this should be it. It was incredibly good value for money. Toiletries ,slippers, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, memory foam mattress and pillow, super warm duvet and best of all, they don't charge for pets and, in fact, positively welcome them. Excellent place to stay. We chose the Kyriad Coquelles for its proximity to the Channel Tunnel and free parking. The hotel is clean and the evening meal was good value although the choice was limited. This is a good hotel if you need a convenient overnight near the retail parks. Excellent location, very close to channel tunnel. Free and secure parking. Pleasant, comfortable, good food all at a reasonable price. Animal friendly, they didn't charge for our cat. This is our second time there and we will definitely use it again. We booked by iphone, and the called us to inform us how to get in if they closed. Nice! Rooms are small, but al right. We were two adults and two small children in a double room, and that was a little to much. Not the hotels fault, but ours. :). The hotel was conveniently near the Tunnel crossing to England. It was friendly, clean, not expensive and had a restaurant, Wifi and parking. We just needed to stay one night. But it is not the sort of hotel you would stay in for a holiday. It was very easy to find, and very close to where we wanted to be, easy to access and the staff was friendly and went out of their way to help. We would recommend it again to friends. We will add it to our preferred places to stay. The sataff are first class very helpful and friendly, could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The Manager was able to recommend several places to eat as we stayed at the weekend, and we were very pleased with the restaurant where we did eat. The hotel was very easy to find from the car ferry with a good restaurant only a short distance away (the restaurant at the hotel was not open as it was a sunday). The rooms were a bit cramped but this was expected.the restaurant is not open at weekends but there are other places to eat close by. The restaurant was closed for the week-end when we arrived. This was unexpected as there was no mention in the hotel information. There was a Grill and Chinese restaurant open nearby luckily. The room was very small indeed but did offer a bath. Moved the twin beds further apart and the area of carpet revealed looked like it had not been vacuumed in months. To be fair, everything we could see looked clean. Bathroom is a little cramped and needs updating. Sink had a big crack in it. hard to fault, particularly with the price we paid. Hot water ran out 8-9am. Rather restricted bathroom size with loose loo seat, but this outweighed by hotel's advantages. Wash basin a bit too large for the space available. Nothing. It is unfortunate that the resteraunt is not open at weekends. Evening meal in restaurant was disappointing. Unless you have an early breakfast there is very little choice left, making it bad value for money - so we had breakfast elsewhere.
