Great location, close to the Cathedral and right opposite the Benedictine abbey church of St. Pierre. There is public parking available but during the day it might be difficult to secure a place close to the hotel. We arrived sometime after 6.00pm when it was a little quieter and managed to park very close indeed. In the morning, parking charges start at 8.00am with the first half hour free. It's 3 hours maximum. The hotel was charming; beautifully furnished and well designed in a very old buil.

The building was very old and beautiful on the outside but absolutely up to date and contemporary in the room itself which had a beautiful view of the cathedral and Chartres. I strongly recommend this accommodation. Great hospitality by the lovely family that owns it. It is a bed and breakfast, not really a hotel. Good location as you can walk to the Cathedral (about 10-15 mins) The room was small but had a great shower and opened up to a very cute courtyard. There was a very friendly and homely reception and a very generous attitude to cups of tea or other drinks. The building is old and interesting and the situation in the heart of Chartres is perfect. Parking could be a problem. We found a free place right in front for the evening, then moved to a paid garage for the next day when the street parking would have been limited and expensive. Parking a challenge but our hosts were more than helpful. Will not accept credit or debit cards. Parking is an issue in this town its all for residents close to the B&B public pay & display available, small narrow streets very french not good when you don't know where you are going. Nothing. N/a. not enough info on nearby eateries. no parking. lack of chairs in bedroom. hard to find location. bad external signage. Waiting until 16:00 to check in, but we got to see parts of Chartres while we waited that we might not have seen otherwise. no airco. Nothing. Information about the place obtained from owners by letsbookhotel.com false - we were waiting two hours from 16:00 till 18:00 until somebody was present in the B&B, not receiving phone calls, there is an info about charging credit cards with half of the price in moment of reservation - not true - and difficult to solve, owners rude.
