  Fantastic location, a stone,s throw from the cathedral and the old town of Chartres. Very helpful map sent beforehand by the hotel with info for where to park to drop off luggage. Free car park pass from the hotel for the underground car park which was a five minute walk away. Good breakfast and helpful staff. The breakfast was fabulous. The manageress/owner was lovely and really helpful. The parking (included in the room rate) in a nearby public car park is easily arranged with the hotel. The room Les Anges was beautiful - very romantic, with views to the front and rear of the hotel, a screened-off sitting area and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath. We will definitely return.

The hotel was charming; beautifully furnished and well designed in a very old buil - Charming owners made you feel at home in an extremely relaxed environment. The building was very old and beautiful on the outside but absolutely up to date and contemporary in the room itself which had a beautiful view of the cathedral and Chartres. I strongly recommend this accommodation.

  We arrived late and the reception staff still had a welcoming smile for us. All the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Although I speak some French the staff were more than willing to speak english to us. The breakfast buffet was great and a good variety.
