  The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc. The accommodation has only recently been renovated and our room, no 3, although relatively small, was decorated beautifully. There are hundreds of places to eat in the evening we found the Jardin d'ete excellent, great pizzas and a good ambiance within a walled garden just below the Cite walls

  The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The hotel was very well kept with a lovely clean pool area and hotel rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. I cannot fault aragon. - The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.
