  Bayeux is a picturesque town in Normandy and I'm so happy we chose La Tour Louise as our base for exploring the region. William, our host, was very hospitable and gave excellent tips on things to see and do. In fact, the places he pointed out to us were probably the highlights of our tour of the D-Day sites. The - The Location is excellent for exploring Bayeux on foot. Most of the major sightseeing is within several blocks and parking is free for those with an automobile. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights. The cottage was so cute, roomy, very clean, and comfortable.
