    The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, cleans and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was also a good size. - The Hotel was very intimate and the staff was very helpful.

    I had left my passport in the safe and was already driving back to Paris. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and immediately contacted me via email and telephone. I had asked for them to send my passport back to the hotel i am staying at in Paris which i provided the address to. They were so helpful and honest and managed t - A wonderful old, quirky hotel right in the middle of Bayeux literally a stone's throw from the tapestry museum and the cathedral with great restaurants, cafes and bars right on its doorstep.     Bayeux is a picturesque town in Normandy and I'm so happy we chose La Tour Louise as our base for exploring the region. William, our host, was very hospitable and gave excellent tips on things to see and do. In fact, the places he pointed out to us were probably the highlights of our tour of the D-Day sites. The - The Location is excellent for exploring Bayeux on foot. Most of the major sightseeing is within several blocks and parking is free for those with an automobile. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights.     We really enjoyed our two night stay in Bayeux, the highlight of which was staying at this wonderful B&B. Run with loving and personal care by Carol and Jerome, the place is charming. It is extremely conveniently located to the old city center, including the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral, and is a great base from which to visit D-Day sites. ... what people say » Our room was spacious, very comfortable and nicely furnished. It is difficult to list everything but things include - Superb breakfasts that changed daily, attention to detail in the bedroom and bathroom, having the bed made and clean towels each day, tea/coffee making facilities, off street parking, great gardens, proximity to the city centre and many historical sights, exceptional information about local sights.
