Red Emperor Hostel is a perfect place to stay for several nights, if you want to explore the Old Town. It's so close to all the sights, that you can take long night walks when it's warm, see Tallin in a beautiful lighting, which makes it look as in medieval tale, and drop in all the nice bars and small restaurants around :) By the way the bar in hostel is awesome, great music and design, and you can just open the door and go there in your slippers. all reviews » In the first I was not sure if I have make good choce when I arive to Red Emperor, it was hard to find and the bar looks slummy whit car parts and grafity all ower. They ma clean that out. But the staf is frendly and the beer is cheap. I am bicycling traweler and it was no proplem to store my bike near to the lobby locket insid the hostel in 24hr wew from the desk. The staff are fantastic, so unbelievably kind and helpful, literally nothing was a bother for them, even though we arrived at 6am they were so kind and helpful. Amazing value for money, location was good, and everything was so clean and comfortable. Absolutely amazing hostel. Great location, few steps from Old Town. Surprisingly clean showers and toiltes. Window cant be opened Heater not working. Nothing. Noisy, not feeling safe ,cold. First it was hard to find.. Also hostels bar was so near some rooms that sleeping was hard,because of that noise... Thin walls, small number of electrical outlets in hostel's rooms. room space less than 6 mq although should be 13 mq as agreed: too little! only a bed, nothing more; a bit too cold and with radiator not in good conditions. It is really hard to get some sleep. i was in the 8bed dorm. but the noise came from outside,AS there is a pub and therefore noisy people all night (thursday). If u are up for partying a lot,i recommend it,if not i can't.
