The rooms are of high standard and very clean. All staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. I would reccommend anyone to stay here, as I am coming again. My friend and I had a really nice time at the hotel, and is near to sights. Great old building, massive big rooms, very friendly staff, clean rooms and good service. free wifi and breakfast. Hotel Royal was not so royal any more, but the staff was excellent. Everything worked at a reasonable price.

Central, clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. the location of the hotel and privacy of the room. The Staff are friendly and the Hotel is clean. We arrived in the early morning and they offered us a room for half of the price. It is well located for downtown and for metro connections. Free breakfast room service. Nice local market in the street during the early morning and a lot of cafes but also constant islamic tunes being played outside. was clean and friendly. little crowded area, sometimes little noisy, no car parking. Noisy location, though in the downtown. Unfortunately our room was not in the booking-picture. There was a limited space in our room and no safety box. Yet, you can't expect the best room for one night booking. - breakfast needs more variety - transfer service too expensive. Lobby don't have tv, a little bit expensive , tv in rooms upon request, don't buy anything from the 1 who sell perfum in the front of the hostel entrance. Leakage in bathroom (left a puddle next to the toilet), no shower curtain (more puddles), bathroom generally needed attention; very noisy until late at night due to the many busy cafés sourrounding the hotel; while the staff was generally friendly and helpful they were not very accomodating when we asked if we could check out one hour later than usually required (1pm instead of 12) - it would have cost an additional 40egp. although the room seemed clean at the beginning, i saw a cockroach in the bathroom. also the stuff promised me to arrange my transfer to the airport via their privately rented car company. i asked one day in advance to confirm and they said it is possible but the next day the car was not available for me. also the price includes breakfast but found its quality very unsatisfied for that price. The tours are a rip off The taxi services are a rip off Never buy anything from their $ tours Taxi 'Guides" take you to their friends shops that are tourist prices and rip off's Hotels Pyrmaids tour contact is very expensive. It was a bit cold. There was a leakage in the toilet so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. The glass door of the bath room did not close. Insufficient space on both sides of the bed. Large hallways and empty spaces where they arranged for the breakfast to be served. the rooms are not like the pics in the internet! with the car was not possibel to go directly to the hotel. no dinner room. salon in same room like reception and you come out from your room you stay directly in the reception :-(.
