  This is a newer, modern and very busy place with lots of activities for the younger children. Our standard room was a bit tide for parents and 16-year old with 2 suitcases but comfortable for sleeping. Air-conditioning proved welcomed as it was very hot. About 10 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens and additional 5 min to old town. Breakfast (include... what people say » d in our rate) was excellent with plenty of choices. Parking was a bit expensive but I understand it's standard for Copenhagen. - Super sky bar with swing seats so you can take in the view across the river -the children absolutely loved that. The restaurant up there is a Sushi restaurant which was great and we enjoyed some grown up cocktails too!

Nice hotel staff and good customer service. - This is the first Hotel in Copenhagen that gives you value for money! I have stayed at som 20 different Hotels and all are outrageus low value.

Although near the station the hotel faces onto a relatively quiet residential street so it really was a good location. The room was compact but well designed and the bed comfortable. The room was clean, comfy and quiet, the reception staff were kind and helpful and we had an excellent breakfast with freshly baked bread.   everything - Axel Hotel Guldsmeden is just like a hotel should be: comfortable, cosy, based on a set of values which are clear, based on an eco-friendly way of living, good food, clean etc etc etc. Very good hotel. - We stayed in a Superior Double room, and it was lovely - really comfortable, nicely finished.   Very close to the center, Tivoli Park and Central railway station. Nice rooms at the 4th floor (nr 430...). Good and stable wireless internet connection everywhere in the hotel. Hotel staff was very nice, helpful and pleasant.
