We loved everything about the Alchymist. We had original booked at their sister hotel but because we were travelling in a group of four there wasn't enough room so the upgrade us to this hotel. I'm very fussy and we were travelling in a group of 8. All of us could just praise the hotel. We are not the easiest of people to deal with as we can all be demamding, but there was nothing too difficult for the staff there. Theresa especially was fantastic with us.

Fantastic rooms. Great design. Very cool atmosphere. Great bathroom. Complimentary prosseco with breakfast. Those who commented on the lighting system being complicated may be a little technophobic. It was pretty simple and took no time at all to understand. This would rate as one of the best hotel experiences for us. They raise the level from Ritz Carlton and Shangri La on the basis of atmosphere and room design alone.

This is a truly excellent boutique hotel, perfectly positioned close to the Old Town in Prague. We are seasoned travellers as this hotel is one of the best we've stayed in. It rates 4.5 star by international standards. - We were upgraded as it was our 25th wedding aniversary and we were greated by the staff with a bottle of champagne and flowers.
