Fantastic location, right in the middle of the city. Very easy to walk to main sightseeing locations. The Botel also has a car service you can purchase to pick you up from the airport which is very handy as Prague airport only has bus transfers or taxis. Breakfast was also very good, a great variety and excellent views of the river from the restaurant. The rooms have a slightly dated décor but I think this adds to the charm of the hotel.

Stayed here twice now and found it even better this time, lovely double room, two lovely three course meals , and so nice to sit in the conservatory in the warm weather. So easy to walk to Charles bridge and the centre of Prague , definitely use the albatross Botel again. Botel Albatros is one of the most unique place you will be hosted in. It is a few minutes walk from Prag old town (Stare Miasto). There is an unguarded parking for hotel guests, and we found a place for us. The hotel is almost in the center of the city, so it is an ideal base for a sightseeing trip in Prague. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere with its cosy colors, ship models and panorama windows. The staff were absolutely amazing! Friendly, attentive and always happy to help. Had a great time and hoping to come back. Also sourced a vegan breakfast of good quality. Happy to recommend!. Being on the river. Close to a main thoroughfare to walk up to the Municipal Hall and then the shopping and old areas. 20 mins walk along to Charles Bridge. Very good value for money. Love the uniqueness of being on a boat, tha passing river cruises, the ducks swimming past the porthole, the quirky bunks, good shower, river walk and great lunches!. The rooms were good, location great - walking distance from most of the main tourist sites. Nice to have a rooftop bar, although it was a bit smoky. I got a great deal from booking, for what I paid it was an excellent value, but anything above that would have been expensive for what you get. I feel it was excellent value for the money we spent, but the rooms are very small if paying the usual price. We didn’t need it but a lack of refrigerator and air-condition in the room could be a problem in the summer, bathroom a little bit too small, new furniture needed. We did not dislike anything . The beds are dirty: lots of old dust in the interstitial space between the wood and the mattress (the sheets were clean though). The room has no mosquito net, so expect to have to kill some of them before going to sleep. The room wasn't clean enough and the furniture is a bit old-fashioned. Could be more modern perhaps.. The staff didn't give me any help or guidance suggestions for how to find the popular tourist places. Not even a map!. In slight need of a refurb but still perfectly clean and comfortable. Some staff could have been slightly more polite. the shower was too small,the internet kept going of & on too much. - gross comments of the recepcionist (sarcastic) - impossible to make a dark in the room (as usual in Czechia) - not very rich breakfast, but o.k. - need to be upgraded (old furniture). The breakfast was not good at all. Unfriendly receptionist. The smell of smoke is everywhere. Brekafast could be more interesting. coffee at the breakfast. Small cabins, no aircondition, poor breakfast, sad internet. cramped bathroom. we have trouble vith hot water for shower. While the cabin bedrooms themselves are very clean, the top bar area (the part that is semi-outdoors) really does need some work (a good dust!). The light fittings are very cobwebby, and I was not at all keen on the unually high number of sad looking spiders....!. The staff were unhelpful and have no concept of customer service. Buffet breakfast was adequate but not hugely vegetarian friendly. Wifi only in the restaurant and bar upstairs, not in the rooms. Very Retro rooms and extremely unfriendly staff. Waiting staff in the restaurant were not very friendly. It was kind of old, the carpet had a weird, propably pee, smell, but at that price I hadn't any great expectations. Some of the staff really unhelpful. Female staff was anoyed with quetions or request, sometimes answer would be: I do not know otherwise: why do you need it. There was one nice gentleman thou:). Smell. Old. Ugly shower. Do not book more than 40 EUR for double - does not worth.
