Perfect location.Quiet and confortable,quality furnishings,very clean.Good security. Staff helpful.Thanks in particular to Petra who researched and printed details of rail timetable for a day trip without which it would have been problematic. I would stay again. What a nice 'boutique' hotel! Great, English-speaking staff ... beautiful room ... unbeatable location, unless you can sleep in the Column's chapel ;) ... and not expensive. Please clone this hotel and place in more locations worldwide.
all reviews » The staff bent over backwards to help me solve a few technical problems with my bicycle and even checked the train timetables for me. The room was fabulous, two large comfortable twin beds set together in a very spacious room. Location is perfect. The staff were exceptionally helpful. As the room was in the "attic" on the second floor, it did feel overly hot at times. Nothing. The breakfast area was a bit small. Building being renovated next door and noise started at around 6.00am. TV didn't work but was offerred another room. Breakfast was minimal. Car parking was a problem. Finding the hotel was difficult due to the nearby pedestrian areas - was stopped by police when we strayed into the limited vehicle access area but was let go due to his limited english. they don't have an elevator. No elevator - handicapped should avoid. Noise isolation is rather poor. I was billed twice; on line when the reservation was made and at the time I checked into the hotel. in the night much noise from the restaurant opposit. My room was on the third floor and had to use the stairs.
