This a marvelous small hotel with a historical ambience. Several-century-old house of the vicar, completely renovated with comfortable amenities. Located in the old city, just a two-minute walk from the medieval cathedral of Olomouc and ten-minute walk from the main square. Friendly, family-like staff with heartfelt hospitality. This pension is our strong favourite! Excellent location, perfect hospitality staff, very spacious comfortable room (we second time choose apartmant with balcony), good breakfast. Pets friendly. Strongly recommended!.
all reviews » The double room for single use was a very spacious apartement with an additional single bed room. I had to leave at 6:30, before breakfast, and the receptionist offered a breakfast parcel to go. Staff was very accommodating for our needs (food specifically). Location was fantastic, and they had free parking. I would definitely go back here, next time I'm in Olomouc. the staff was extremally helpful (they wait for us until midnight despite the fact that check-in was possible till 8 p.m.), tasty breakfast, very good localization. A unique place in a medieval listed building the ground floor room with terrace overlooking the cathedral was a dream. A special place well worth a visit. staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the apartment with balcony which was an added bonus as weather was excellent. Very close to centre. The atmosphere was realy magical!!! The reason we booked this place is because it had secure parking for our rented car. The building is about 500 years old and it was interesting staying there. We got a room that was actually a suite of two rooms but that was probably because the place was not full. The breakfast was OK and the staff was nice. Their credit card machine was broken so we had to pay in cash, but that was not a big deal. Could not pay with credit card. Lighting in the apartement could be a little bit brighter. For sensible ears the noise from the central 1.maja street might be disturbing, since this street has cobblestone paving and therefore the rather infrequent car traffic is relatively loud, and also the tramway is running by. Many stairs to carry up our luggage. The showers weren't that great. instead of one double bed there were two beds which easily changed their position, strange smell in the building. Leaving. even though this is an apartment with kitchen the kitchen did not have any plates or cutlery. We only stayed one night so not a problem but if looking for self catering not helpful. The "balcony" was really a rather untidy terrasse, but a good place to rest. The "sitting area" was just a kitchen table with kitchen chairs. The keys were sort of a pain to use. Nothing. It is a small operation and when we got there we could not get in since the place was closed for lunch. I had to get one of the locals make a call to the number on the door to get someone to return and check us in. It was good I found someone who spoke English and was nice enough to help us out. The place was nice enough but a bit low end.
