Spacious room, Immacurate clean bath room, comfortable bed and wide selection of delicious foods at breakfast. This hotel is totally above my expectation with a good price. Good location. Good food. I have stayed in many 4* hotels in the Czech Rep and this is probably the best one yet. Hotel used a rather inaccurate exchange rate to calculate the final invoice - needless to say it was in their favour! Try 'castle apartments' for large family rooms at a very good rate.no proper mounting for the shower. No lift. No internet access in the room. They need to install lifts for families with young children and disabled people or even for old aged people too.The flight of stairs is great but still a disadvantage to carry the buggy or they need to make a storeroom.Although initially quoted as 140.00 by the website, I was charged 160.00 by the hotel. I thought the hotel was too pricey based on my past experiences with hotels. we were disappointed that there really were not any "no smoking" rooms. Internet access did not work. No GB power adaptor. they gave a room which had one small window from which you just saw just a big wall outside - claustrophobic. at the time of check in the receptionist said it was off-season but when we asked if we could change rooms he said- all full. found it a bit strange. also lot of construction going on at city square. recommend only with better view. no lift, hard to go up to the room with heavy luggage. 10 Euro/day to park a Motocycle 15 min. away from the hotel is a ripp off !!!.

Hotel Grand is situated in centre of the town (directly on the main square) You can come with your car to the Hotel and lodge at. Then you have to go with your car to our parking place(400m).
The Train station is 20 minutes by foot. You can use the taxi. It s no expensive here. The taxi from the hotel to the train station costs about 3 Euro. The main bus terminal is only 500 m from the hotel, so you can go on foot. The nearest Airport is in Linz(Austria) it s 80 km far away. The Prager airport is 140 km from here. In the town of Cesky Krumlov you can travel with urban mass transportation as well. But the town is so small, that I can recommend to you use the taxi.
