  Room design. Cleanliness. Freedom. Location. Delicious breakfast. All that people are writing about the swimming pool is unfairly diminishing hotel's rating. The pictures of the pool are exactly views from the balcony.   I was coming from Dubrovnik and we were 1,5 hours late because of the Bosnia-Croatia border crossing. Nevertheless, our host Lovre was still waiting for us and actually was in communication with our previous host trying to find out if we were save. He even gave us a cell phone that is assigned to the guests of the apartment. The apartment is very ... what people say » big and fully equipped, dining room, tv room, kitchen, and of course bedroom. I think it has a very good location, the old town is within a nice 10min - We liked everything about our stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they wouldn't bother us during our stay like it happened in other apartments before. It is literally 10 minute walk to downtown Split and 3 minutes to the local supermarket Konzum. The apartment is superbly furnished yet practical with all kitchen appliances incl. coffee machine. There is even a small patio with a table and chairs in front of the apartment.

  The owner put a lot of thought and care into all the finishings here - great floors, lovely modern bathrooms, comfortable beds and excellent bedding. There is a terrific communal balcony and common area, books and beach towels available, an excellent location near lots of very good restaurants and a very very short walk to the Riva and the Palace,... what people say » as well as right at the beginning of the Marjan Peninsula (Mestrovic Gallery, beaches, hiking...). I would not hesitate to stay here again next time - What a superb stay we had here. Accommodation excellent, clean and comfortable beds, great shower. Very generous and friendly host who gave us so much information on Split and ferries to islands. House is in centre but not noisy and some rooms have beautiful balcony looking out over very old rooftops. There is a room where fresh fruits and coffee and tea are available on the house and access to internet and books available. We will definitely return to this accommodation.
