Not only did she welcome us with open arms, her recommendations and helpful information made us feel a lot less like tourists and more familiar before we even went exploring. We ended up eating at the restaurant she suggested every night we were there (Apetit)! Knowing we were up for some exercise she also suggested some good running routes (lots of stairs nearby). When we realized we would need another night after returning from our boat trip she immediately. This was a perfect apartment for our stay in Split. We stayed at the Klaićeva poljana 1 apartment above the Austrian Embassy and it was easy to find & central to everything in Old Town. Walking up the five flights was totally worth the views and the smell of fresh bread woke us up every morning from the bakery across the street. Kitchen was well stocked, bathroom clean and spacious, and there was plenty of room to relax. We really felt like we were living in Split with this apartment. Marij. Me and my younger brother booked an apartment last minute via letsbookhotel.com and got a great apartment with sea view, and a big double bed, the apartment itself had everything we could require, wifi, aircondition and so on. But the best thing about our stay here was the fantastic and special rentlady whom lived nextdoors - Lilian who helped us with everything we asked for and took really good care of us, if there's anything that really stuck from our short trip to Split it's her. Hope we mee. A group of friends and I stayed here. It was great location and so comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helped us to the room. For our money I was so impressed and happy with the apartment! The A/C in the summer was my best friend and everything was so clean. The kitchen is great to save a little money if you want to cook but it is so close to all the great restaurants that its hard not to be tempted to eat out too. Loved our visit and would stay again!. We got a beautiful apartment in a prime location, just on the edge of the old town. The apartment was modern, light, and spotlessly clean. It wasn't huge but it was plenty for two of us. The neighborhood was busy but because the apartment was on the top floor it was quiet. It was 5th floor with no elevator but that was no problem because we were very adequately warned, and the spectacular view over the palace and the harbor was well worth the climb!. All of the team were fantastic. We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment in the centre of Split. Great location and an authentic Croatian apartment - nothing too fancy but everything you need. I would highly recommend this team as nothing was a problem. Ivana also organised transport for us at the end of our stay to take us north to Murter to pick up a Flotilla Charter from Activity Yachting. Excellent all round. The large 4 bedroom Clock tower apartment that we stayed in, was spacious with kitchen, laundry machines, 2 bath/toilets, large living and dining area. It is located centrally within the old town area, and short walk to the Riva area, very convenient. The staff handling the check-in were very friendly and helpful, particularly in getting us storage space for our luggage for the day we stayed away in Hvar. The apartment we had was well appointed, beautifully decorated with all the right facilities. 3 double bedrooms but still in the throes of a little renovation so shower not exactly complete in one bathroom and as there were only 2 for 3 double rooms was a little time consuming. Once this is fixed all will be fine. Located within walking distance to old town and close to supermarket. Wow... Our apartment was much prettier than the photos we saw on the website. Lots of original features and all the rooms were very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was very well equipped, shower was modern and comfortable. Location was very good it was right next to the fish market. Close enough to town centre and far enough from the noise. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment with balcony in old town near city wall. The location was excellent close to everything and a 10 minutes walk to the beach. All the facilities not provided in other apartments were here and made our stay a fantastic one. Supermarket very close buy so if you wanted to make your own meals or breakfast this is possible. NOTE: I think BoS Apartments may vary - its like a group of apartments, each privately owned, and you don't know which you may get. Having said that, in our group BOTH of our apartments were fantastic. The location could not have been more central, mine had an amazing view, and both were very well appointed. The agents were most helpful and arranged airport pick ups and drop offs. They let us leave our luggage there for a week whilst we were on a cruise. They were most helpful and friendly. the apartment was brilliant, with a rooftop terrace, washing machine and in the old area of Split. the best possible accommodation. Beautiful apartment, modern, well decorated, nice view over the city and the bay. The owner is very helpfull, both by email and telephone she always answered to our questions. There apartment is on the 4th floor of the clock tower building with no elevator. For those who have large suitcase, it is a feat to get up those narrow flight of stairs. When booking was lead to believe the apartment was actually in the centre of the old town which is what I wanted. the apartment we got was excellent and witihin walking distance to the old town but I was looking forward to being amongst it all and so a little disappointed at being mislead. Nothing really... Lack of a kettle is the only minor thing we can pick on. Parking very expensive but is close by. No building in Old Town has lifts. We ended up on 5th floor apartments. That's fine, but if you can't cope with that I suggest you add a note to your booking explaining that you need fewer stairs. Could do with Air-con in the second bedroom aswell because the street below was very noisy at night with the windows open. Something like 110 steps to get there, as it is on the 5th floor, so, not for the weak-hearted!. Because it felt like living in history (which is great)...floors creak and not all mods and cons. can be fitted in...(wardrobes for example), ...but if you want all this stuff check into a Travelodge...just chill and enjoy what you do have here. This is not a criticism, but it would be nice to have a toaster. It was a little awkward using the oven grille. The flight of stairs to lug heavy back-packs up! Not a major problem really. Cleaning could be improved. that we couldn't stay longer... Nothing, everything was perfect. The steps were hard work with suitcases, without the cases it seemed so much easier. This apartment was not the one seen in pictures. The address listed in letsbookhotel.com is an agancy address. Can be a bit noisy but you are right in the city centre so is expected. Cleaner had turned off hot water so we had a cold shower on one occasion but the representative soon came and sorted it out. It is a 4th floor walk up. Could use more towels and more hooks to hang things. Noise from the square can be very loud through out the night. A double bed mattress would be better than two single mattresses side by side. pretty noisy. the 101 stairs to the apartment. A.C. did not reach all rooms. Walking up 4 floors was as advertised. Noisy and have to carry luggage to the third floor. The double beds were very uncomfortable. Thin mattress over over supports. Many stairs..... :-). 5 stories of stairs. - difficulties in founding a parking. noise from the clock-tower bell at each hour even during the night. bed. Decor and linens were a bit older. Shower was a bit small to move around in with no ability to hang shower wand higher. Just needed to be updated. We stayed in doric apartment. It's located just opposite a chapel and a restaurant in a small alley therefore can be noisy if you have the windows open. The kitchenette is kind of under a slanting wall so it's not possible to cook or use the sink. The double bed 'upstairs ' can be quite warm as there is no windows nor air-con. There is also no toaster, oven or microwave.
