  We stayed for 4 nights at the Kalalarge Appartments and liked it very much. The appartment very nice and clean, very well-equipped and has a balcony with a nice view over the old town and the sea. The owner was very friendly and came to fetch us from the bus station.   I loved Apartments Familia for many reasons. The #1 reason were the owners Ankica and her husband. They picked us up at the bus station and helped us with our large suitcases - very hospitable and fun! Ankica was a great help to us by getting all the information on the ferries to the islands...greatly appreciated! I would definitely stay at Apartments Familia again and would strongly recommend it to any travelling t - Ankica was so welcoming, she answered all my correspondence, had her lovely husband collect us from the bus, gave us a bottle of her home made cherry brandy that was magnificent, and was available for any queries that we had. I have never been given such a welcoming anywhere else, she is a lovely lady and I would never hesitate in totally recommending Apartment Familia to any other travellers. Minutes to restaurants and a very short stroll to the beach and markets.

  This was without doubt one of the best if not the finest places we have stayed.The apartment had everything and I mean everything right down to a washer with powder included.The accommodation was immaculate...a lot of thought had gone into the place and we loved the kitchen area out on the veranda...we mixed and matched eating in and out as it was... what people say » so spacious and homely.The hosts left us to our devices but were generous in the drinks they presented to us,plus the fruit and the figs ,the latter - The Villa was very clean, comfortable and furnished with everything one can need. I felt home like. The location was near the center, but you had to walk up a small hill - 100m max. But I liked that, as it keeps you in good shape, after dinner, or ice creams :-D

  The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Restaurant food was excellent - I do recommend you have lunch here one of the days... what people say » . Its location is right by the beach area But you also have a lovely pool area at the hotel itself. - Good sized rooms. Great views of the sea. Very comfortable and furnished in a modern beach style. Loved the sauna in the room. Close to other fabulous beaches including Brela and Baska Voda. Wonderful staff especially Dragana at reception. She is a gem and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Dragana!
