  The main rooms were all rented out so they have us an apartment in the center of Opatija for the same price. Perfect location! Free parking could have been an issue for the long run. It was great, if you get t - We stayed in a separate 2 bed apartment in opatija town centre - just 50 yds to the beach & all facilities. (Villa Dahlia is on a busy main road & a fair distance away ftom the centre. ) There was a tv in both bedrooms & living area with good cable channels. The bathroom was roomy & well equipped with plenty of towels. A galley kitchen which was fully equipped for cooking if desired.

  We used our stay for day trips to fortified hill towns (E.G. Motovun, Hum and Draguc) and to go to Plitvice Lakes. We started each day after a very nice breakfast that featured local produce, meats and cheeses, and WONDERFUL coffee.   This hotel is playing in a higher class (but also higher price range). You will notice their professional approach in a lot of aspects. We booked the superior room and had a magnificent view on Kvarner Bay. We were happy to have this room, the others looked more basic (and not having a balcony).
