The hiking trails around the hotel were great. I was easy just to take one of them and see the country while getting a little exercise. Also the staff was more than accommodating, I had to leave for the airport at 0430 and the staff had breakfast ready for me event though breakfast didn't start til 0700 -

We stayed in a separate 2 bed apartment in opatija town centre - just 50
yds to the beach & all facilities. (Villa Dahlia is on a busy main
road & a fair distance away ftom the centre. ) There was a tv in
both bedrooms & living area with good cable channels. The bathroom
was roomy & well equipped with plenty of towels. A galley kitchen
which was fully equipped for cooking if desired.

This is not a hotel, but a B&B apartment. It is very comfortable
with a full bath, kitchen and washing machine. The view is spectacular.
The amenities are everything you would expect in an apartment and can
accommodate an entire family. The proprietor is extremely helpful and
friendly and the value is better than should be expected. -

We used our stay for day trips to fortified hill towns (E.G. Motovun,
Hum and Draguc) and to go to Plitvice Lakes.
We started each day after a very nice breakfast that featured local produce, meats and cheeses, and WONDERFUL coffee.

Great location with a beautiful view of the water both from the inside as the outside. Very nice apartment with all equipment and a large terrace. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful and hospitable. On arrival we were offered a cool drink and had a talk with the owners. Certainly a very recommendable place where we would like to come again.

This hotel is playing in a higher class (but also higher price range). You will notice their professional approach in a lot of aspects. We booked the superior room and had a magnificent view on Kvarner Bay. We were happy to have this room, the others looked more basic (and not having a balcony).

Excellent service, friendly staff, great brakfast, fantastic view over Kvarner bay, best gnocci with truffles ever eaten, bus shuttle service to town, excellent air condition in superior room (important in summer for those who prefer absolute quietness at night with windows and balcony doors closed), room design chic, superb mattresses.
