What people say
Great place for a few days stay.Centered location but difficult to find and decent value for the money, very quiet and peaceful place. The owners are very friendly and helpful at any time. And also their adorable dog Bianka is so lovely and fun to play with.
I liked the friendliness of the owners. They offered lemonade and grapes for us. I liked the private bath. I liked that it was near everything including buses and grocery stores. Owner's son helped with tours. It was certainly budget friendly.all reviews »
Nice place 2km away from old town. We arrived late at night, but that wasn't a problem for the owner. He offered us a home made lemonade, and helped us around.
The place is clean and nice. And they have a friendly dog walking around ;-).
Katarina and Miho are very nice.
Room with 2 beds was very good.
There were supermarket, cafes, restaurants very close. Bus stop to old town is very close. It is possible to walk from bus station and port.
It was a centrally located place, within easy walking distance to stari grad. Miho, the owner, was very friendly. It was a good, budget-friendly place to stay.
They are definitely the most amazing and friendly people in Croatia! We were sad we were leaving, and will visit them back surely if we drop by Croatia again!.
I liked the hosts, they were very friendly and generous.
Katarina is a very friendly host. she welcomed us with lemonade and her dog Bianca was also very excited about our arrival.
The room's entrance is on the terrace of the families home, so you're included into the families life.
The son speaks English perfectly well, so in case you have any questions he will be happy to help you.
Bus station to and from the old town is a 5 minute walk, the transport takes about 10 minutes, so this is pretty good.
Also nearby is a local supermarket, so shopping .
The owners are nice and very helpful, even if only the son speaks english.
They gave us all sort of information and they provided us a map of the city (and offered lemonade and cookies) and arranged for us the airport transfer.
Bianka, the dog, is very nice and friendly too.
The room was clean and we had a private bathroom one.
20minutes away from the old city but near to bus stops that can bring you there in less than 5minutes.
All the stairs, if you have mobility problems, not for you.Katerina did not speak English which was a bit of a problem, but she was very nice. Really close cafes did not serve food after 5pm, you had to go nearer the port.
Free parking isn't always available - but the owner is helpful to find a place anyway.
Not very easy to find because it´s a staircase between two streets. We used gps, and the tip I read here to cross through the supermarket parking. Print Google Maps and it´s fine.
The free parking is a very small alley behind the place which can be very difficult to navigate in and out of.
Nothing.
The room itself is okay, but be warned if you are taller than 1,70 - the bed seemed to be fitted for people from the 19th century ;-) maybe a good way to soak in the feeling of medieval life in Dubrovnik...
We had issues finding the place: the address is a narrow street with stairs; not reachable by cars and difficult to find on maps (the most comfortable way is across a mall parking: once you know it, it's ok).
20minutes away from the Old Town.
