* Good Location - between Bund, Yu Yuan Garden, Metro, Shopping Area and of course MOSQUE for Muslim travellers was just waliking distance at 386 Fu You Road. * Muslim Food was available in small shop at Fu You Raod (2 Min walk) and Good Restaurant with prayer area within 1.2 km (around 10-12 min walk) * Luggage Left-over Facility. + Near main tourist market and Yuyuan Garden, The Bund (Riverside), Metro Station and of course Mosque. + Luggage kept free of charge after check out.
all reviews » location perfect - close to the river, the Bund area, Yuyuan Bazaar across the road and a Metro station a block away good breakfast. The room was big and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Bund and neighbouring area. Clean and New Value for money Good location for shoppers. The rooms that were given to us was unexpected. The rooms have clean rooms, spacious, well lighted and comparable to 'branded' 5 star hotels. The bathrooms were superb! And the LCD TVs were an added bonus. The location of the hotel is great as it is a short walking distance to The Bund and Nanjing Road East and very very near YuYuan Garden (just across the street). The staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous and knows a little English. Location Clean. Beware, it is not on the big and well known Renmin Rd, it is on a side little dirty road, the address is a lie to attract the tourists. It is close to the river. - Dark at night street / Area - Wholesale shops for tailoring material adj the hotel closes at sunset making dark/dead area early. Instead East Nanjing Road and Nanjing Ped. Street remain alive till midnight. - Due to one-way restrictions it is difficult to tell the correct way to the taxi driver. It has cars access from Jinlang East Road on side street named Yong'an Road that has the Main Entrance for hotel and not on Renmin St. as mentioned in map. - Street become dead / dark just after sunset as there are wholesale market of tailoring material in the hotel building. But across the signal (approx 300m) the shops were open late night. appearance of the building new building next door going to spoil views. Staff looked rather bored and fed up when serving their guests. Room a bit small Wifi is only available at the lobby. The booking stated that we'll get the city view rooms but instead were given with rooms overlooking the hotel atrium. The food choices at breakfast are disappointing, needs more choices especially those not fond with Eastern cuisine. Huge deposit Rooms small Little english. I noted 10 important bad points such a the need to clean the windows, to replace burned lamp bulbs, the smoke smell in non smoking rooma and among others, a real problem with one of the employee who needs a serious training for politeness. It is inadmissible. If you have a choice, do not rent a room at this hotel (if you find it, because taxis will leave you at the address indicated on the papers !!!). Bad choice. Staff unfriedly and not very helpfull There were sigarette buds and used condoms under the bed. The towels had holes in them. Windows dirty.
