Room was not huge but not tiny either, no wrong smells, no dirty spots, nothing what could direct me to more expensive/not so central place. The staff can speak english enough to solve most of the problems. The room is ok, bed are comfortable and the bathroom is nice. Furniture is not new and elegant but come on, the price is ridiculous and it's China! Enjoy it!

  This was our second time staying here, this time I booked the 3 bedroom apartment. It is very basic, which was fine. One bedroom does not have a window, this might put some people off, tbh it suited us as I did not have to keep worrying about our youngest falling out the window.   This is a choice for accommodation that delivers on multiple aspects. When one thinks of Shanghai, The Bund pops up not long after. This hostel's locations is ideally ON THE BUND!!l!! It offers on a budget what others pay hundreds of US dollars for in other forms of accommmodation. Subway is also not too far from the hostel. I defin - Brilliant location right by the Bund, excellent places to eat nearby. Short easy walk to Metro 10 mins max but lots of cheap taxis at the end of the road. The friendly staff spoke English and gave 5 star service! Nothing was too much trouble. We had a triple room on 4th floor with free wifi in the room and free internet in a computer room on the same floor!! The beds were comfortable and clean, shower powerful and hot. For less than £7 per night per person, in our triple room I have no complain
