very little room and bathroom, but totally enough for just a few nights. It was extremly cheap (130 rmb/night) and in walking distance to Bund and main street.
Location is Great. Close to walk to famous Bund and Yun Yuan gardens, Nanjing road etc. If you don´t want to walk, reliable subway is just few minutes away :-).

I cannot think of anything better for this price, in this location. Daily cleaning was good. Good for short term stay around city center but not sure if I would go back in the future.

Little bit better english abilities to staff would be appreciated.
Only one person at the reception desk spoke English. At the restaurant they did not have forks and knives. So if you cannot use chopsticks, you'd better bring your own fork and knife.

Only Chinese breakfast available (noodles and cooked vegetables etc). The procedures to access the internet were quite long and bureaucratic. And I still don't understand the point of having glass-walled bathrooms in twin rooms. If we are not intimate enough to share the same bed, most probably we would prefer not to watch one another inside the bathroom!.
Breakfast was terrible, no hair dryer in the room, bathroom too small but okay. Some guests were noisy at night.
