  Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel. The staff @ the hotel are extremely limited in they English ( even the Concierge only spoke very few words ) but as we were out there to visit the Fam , we didn't need to engage in conversation with the members of staff - who in all fairness were most... what people say » friendly especially the maids ..   The staff do their best to make you feel good. They are always smiling and they spare no effort to serve well. Most of them we meet speak English and those who don't will try their best. The rooms were amazing spacious and with a very tasteful decoration. The charges were fare. The looks of the hotel amenities are astonishing. When we had a taxi p... what people say » roblem, unrelated with the hotel, even it was not their fault, they apologise for the inconvenience and made efforts so we continued enjoying our stay - It's clean, the room is spacious, the staff are helpful (although they had a hard time speaking in English which seems to be the norm in Beijing). The location (depending on your fitness, it's around 20-30 mins walk to Forbidden City and about 5-10 mins walk to Qianmen St. Market and I guess, 10-20 mins to the Temple of Heaven)
