  Really great guy running the joint. You can tell he is a happy man. His English is good enough to help with pretty much everything. Shame Datong's really a bit of a hole...great place to stack up on small rolls of toilet paper for the train ride out though, just ask at the counter. If you're to see one thing whilst in Datong, definitely check out ... what people say » the Hanging Monastery - location is good, entrance a bit misleading through a baby-clothing shop. on the main shopping street so might be loud in the evenings, but Datong is not very lively at night so the street was not disturbing at all. internet working, clean, air-con working. good beds.
