  Extremely friendly and helpful staff, having a 24h reception is very convenient for late check-ins and early check-outs. Location is within walking distance to Dong Si train station, which is just stops away from key attractions such as Tian An Men, Forbidden Palace, WangFuJing street etc. I would highly recommend a visit to NanLuoGuXiang - a beau... what people say » tiful place with lots to see, eat and buy. By the way, the hostel serves a good cup of Mocha! Overall, Happy Dragon Hostel is value for money for budg - Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out. The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

  The staff were excellent and really helpful - all English speaking which is so helpful as it is difficult in this city to find many English speaking people to help you Hostel very friendly and relaxed and plenty of Chinese travelling students who are keen to speak with you and go out and eat with youI liked the area the hostel was in - 1.   I absolutely loved this hotel. All the staff made me feel so welcome.They made me feel like family. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is about a 4 minute walk from the Drum and Bell Tower. Ho Hai Park and Behai Park are also pretty close by. It is situated in surrounded by restaurants, hutongs and lots of sights! Period. Theservice was amazing, the ammenities were phenomenal, there is absolutelynothing we could have wanted that we didn't already have during ourstay. Will definitely recommend to friends and will definitely bestaying at again. Cheers to the wonderful staff!
