The room was very nice. We liked your emphasis on the environment. We rated your location as "good" because most of the things we did were at the other end of the city. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to many more with your chain. I also thought your "quiet" promise to guests not to put marching bands or circus animals in the hall was very funny. The staff were incredible. The location superb and it was very quiet. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel which was great for breakfast. This hotel will be renovating which can only improve it. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again.
all reviews » Bed was very comfortable and it was great having a sitting room with dining table for four and a seperate bedroom. Within walking distance to downtown. Attached restaurant was great for breakfast. Duvet and comfortable bed. Clean room, lots of space, had and efficiency suite and it was well appointed with the basis. Staff are great. Decent value for the money. I absolutely will stay there again. I've stayed in several Windsor hotels and this is definitely the most welcoming. Value for the money and great location. Seemed secure after hours. As a woman travelling alone, that was important. Stayed there because it was close to the hospital where my mother was dying. Walking distance to riverfront for Fireworks. Comfortable bed, would be very nice for longer term stay. Liked the layout of the room and the privacy it offered when sharing with another person. Not the best part of town if you are walking on your own, but things are close by so grab a cab. There was some construction on another building behind the hotel. However, they relocated us to a more comfortable suite within 5 minutes. Truly accommodating people. Carpets were stained. Bedding was older. Not a glass cup to be found. Only glasses in hotel were plastic. Restaurant was smoky..empty on what should have been a busy night..we took the hint and went elsewhere. The shower didn't work very well and when trying to turn it on, you felt like you were going to rip the tap out of the wall. We reported this to the front desk; wonder if anything was done. The alarm on the clock was on and woke us up at an ungodly hour on a Sunday morning. Never thought to check it before going to bed. The bathroom door was very dirty. The rooms are old and poorly cleaned, we didn't even receive timely housekeeping service. The non smoking room smelt of smoke, the pullout couch was so worn out you couldn't sit on it without falling through. For the money I paid for two nights, I didn't expect s five star resort, but certainly more than I got. The carpets were disgusting! Furniture was outdated. Worn out sofa and badly worn carpet. Also, paying extra for parking. the carpets in the hallways and rooms very dirty and carry a odor the were spaying a deodorant in the halls that was very strong to the point of making you sick. first room was quite bad, stains on carpet, no fridge or microwave as requested, old worn furniture. second room was much better but should have had non slip mat for bath. wife slipped and hit head on toilet, left her with black eye for wedding attended got a non slip mat after asked for one. For the cost of this hotel it was very old. The shower was not adjustable. The toilet did not flush properly. The bar area was so small you hardly had space to make coffee or toast. I would rate this as a one *. The cost per night should be much lower. The bed linens was very poor. I had to change my room. All they can say to you is that they are renevating. I did not see any renovations. The TV,s are so out dated and did not work properly.
