Picked the Days Inn because of location/cost. Turned outlocationwas excellent,price was right and staff was priceless.On checkng in we asked about vaiuos locations and immeadiately had them outlined on a map. n leaving we decided because of the weather to alter our return home and staff immeadiately lent us a copy of your USA locations. Had a very satisfactory compilmentry breakfast and a fasinating discussion with one of your staff about time we had spent in Portugal. A delightful stay !!!.
all reviews » The Receptionist I think her name was Kirsten, was the most helpful I have met in a long time, she gave us information about where to go and was so friendly I really feel she has to be mentioned in this review. Everything!!! Staff was very friendly! I travel often and its the first time ever I saw fresh fruit at the free continental breakfast Right Downtown-close to everything Definitely going back again!. Great location, plenty of free parking. Walking distance to the terminal for the Windsor/Detroit tunnel bus. Walking distance to plenty of places to eat. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall very good, location and breakfast best features. Miserly shampoo - not even enough for one person. It was in a prime location. Walking distance to everything in downtown Windsor. The location, price, breakfast included, convenient parking, fridge in room. - central location - pricing - decent breakfast - comfortable lobby. Really good value for the money. Friendly, professional staff. Its not to big and far away from downtown in center like It.. Cheap place to stay. Close to the city center. Location as we did not travel by car. friendly close. location. I liked that the location was walking distance to restaurants that we were interested in dinning at. The facilities were available last minute and were adequate for our needs. The price was great for a young couple and it was right around the corner from the bars so we didn't have to walk far. Clean linens, washrooms, location, parking on location, breakfast, security on doors, friendly staff. The friendly staff and clean room. Great location. The hotel is in a geographically a great location, close to the casino, close to the border and close to the river. Staff was friendly. Location was good. Your staff was so accomadation, we can't think of any single thing that detracted from our short stay. as we where there for such a short time I didn'tfind anything not to like. Absolutely nothing!!!. Not a direct complaint for this place but in genenral hotel's in this price range attract a lot of a certain type of traveler especially if there is any music festivals at the same time. Walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep. Front desk check-in would not give me caa/aaa discount because I had not book it directly. There was no fridge :(. wished that our room would have had patio doors out to the courtyard for easier access, but this was not a major issue...only one other thing, was disappointed that there was no casino shuttle service as was advertised. - uncomfortable chairs in room. Cant see security outside or in parking lot with cars not much light in parking outside, to tight and dirty outside. Smoking rooms are for pimps only-disgusting. Rest of the rooms are fairly clean. Low tread linens so you can see stains on the pillow. Bring your own traveling linen bag and you should be fine. breakfast. not clean small. I didn't like that out room did not have a fridge, the ice was located on the 2nd or 3rd floor across the parking lot / driveway and in the main part of the hotel. Our room's thermostat was broken so it was hot and muggy the entire night. It also had an unpleasant odor and we couldn't air it out but you get what you pay for. no microwave in room., dump carpets (needs cleaning) creating smell. No bed skirts. Older TV (no problem with us though). The old building, location, breakfast selection. Didnt get any sleep due to all the young kids partying in the halls and all the pounding going on up above. The hotel was very noisy and the hallways very cold. The breakfast was not great. Fire alarm went off at 3:30 a.m. for about 10 minutes. The cable didn't work, the heat was turned on and our smoke alarm went off several times. The roomed smelled, there was bottle caps on the table when we arrived. The room was right by the main entrance, it was really loud with patrons arriving late at night around 3am-5am. Overall the hotel and the room were in poor standards. I was not very happy with this hotel at all. Lots of noise all night so we had no sleep -doors banging and men yelling .Called front desk at 3am ,said they were aware and would take care of issue which they didn't .We will never stay there again!. Too many young people partying, there were multiple fights on my floor. They were very rowdy and noisy until 6am, security guards had to show up. Sheets were yellow. Wallpaper pealing. Just didn't look very clean. Did not recieve the room that was booked online. They did not have the correct price when I checked in We had a soccer team upstairs that were very loud all nite. They should have put them on the ground floor at an end of the hotel by themselves. When I told the desk clerk the next day about the noise he said I should have called him. I explained the phone have no buttons. The room was dirty and so were the walls in the bathroom Not a very nice place. no cleaning outline. The matress, the tv, the smell, the carpet, the view. The website lied 100%.
