I loved the location. The room was clean, and tastefully decorated. I absolutely loved the cleaning staff--they were friendly, polite, and never overbearing. Pretty and clean room, and very friendly efficient staff. Definitely! Enjoyed my stay there very much. Location was good, fairly cnetral in downtown Vancouver. We walkednearly everywhere. Close to the Yaletown area - that has the bestselection of quality restaurants in town.

Area that the hotel is in seems to be no worse forthis than the rest of downtown. It was noisy outside the hotel (flipside to a central location) so wehad to close the window which meant the room was generally very hot.Lots of construction around. It is a little bit loud at night, because of the leak aircondition you have to slep with open windows.Would have liked breakfast in hotel included in the price, which quite high, but this seemed to be a common ommision for the city. In a three week stay in Canada this was the only hotel that did not provide shower gell. From the Hotel web site we exlected to be able to buy breakfast, this was not available.It was not possible to turn of the heating, a nearby a/c installation made a lot of noice. Very noisy! Even with ear plugs I was disturbed by the noise in the hallways and from construction next door:-(. The heat was unbearable in the room, once they get that issue resolved it is a lovely place, in a good part of town and a great value. They need to get that fixed. We were woke up by a construction crew next to our room@ 730am. We have a very busy life and were extremely upset when this happen as we do not often can take the opportunity to sleep in. Too much noise from both inside and outside the hotel old single pain windows need to replacing, Thin walls. The room was very small and the street noise was unbearable.
