Coming from Whistler/Pemberton it shortens the drive back home (no LIons Gate Bridge) so great location for shopping. The beds are very comfortable for the price. Being a smoker who doesn't like to smoke inside I can just walk out the room and feel safe as a woman. My daughter loves the pool. I stayed there in 2010 for a week to recover from surgery and the service was amazing. This is a cheap motel essentially but it has all the necessary comforts and is clean enough. The wifi signal is ok and the room was spacious. If you are on a budget, I would recommend it. If you are looking for somewhere special to stay, I would pass.
all reviews » The Inn is older style but very clean and close to a range of places to eat. It is right on the bus route so could take the train, ferry and bus from the airport to the hotel front door. Close to Grouse Mountain. Good breakfast. It was cheap, very close to buses and attractions,I would stay there again. The staff even brought around vases with calla lilies into them for their customers, what high hotel has ever done that for you!. Good price for a sleep. I came from Vanocuver Island to visit relatives in North Vancouver and spent most of the time with them so all I wanted was a clean well priced place to sleep. The grounds and property are very well kept up and the rooms were very clean with updated furniture and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite adequate; loved the chai tea dispenser!. It was adequate. From the pictures on line, I thought it was going to be fancy. It's just a 2 story travel lodge type motel. Staff was helpful, it was clean, breakfast was good. Easy to find, nice pool, coin laundry on site. Lovely big room. Hotel (motel?) not much to look at but good value for money and included nice continental b/fast. It is an affordable motel and expectations should be set accordingly... The place is a little old but nothing other than aesthetics. Everything was very clean but they should add some bleach to their wash water when they do the sheets, they are starting to turn a little grey. No negative comments. My room (109) was a bit shady and chilly. Paying $20 for several uncompleted ld attempts to make a call because of faulty number pad which turned out to be local. Broken plug in sink and I'll fitting replacement plug. Sink visible to bedroom. Cheap paper plates etc for breakfast. Stairs to room because of mobility problems. The comforters really need to be changed. They are VERY lumpy, and awful. Nothing. Initial "musty smell" when entering the room. I stayed in room 112 and there was no plug for the sink. cont breakfast could have a little more variety, also the air freshener was over powering. The staff need to cheer up. They are competent and willing to help but not very friendly or happy looking. We booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each. Upon arrival they only had a reservation for 1 room. After some confusion with staff at the desk they found another room. Rooms and exterior are very tired looking and in need of some renovating. Rooms are dated...upgrades should be considered very quickly. Better controls for the heating and cooling.. Walls a little thin as I could hear the adjacent TV easily. Could have been cleaner. Needs an update! Also lacking general upkeep. Curtains do not close .. even fixing the curtain hooks would be a start... Hopefully when I return there, there will be a bit of a face lift!. Doors did not close properly room smelt damp and musty ,value for money not good, breakfast not very enjoyable. That although we booked a wake up call it never came. Having money charged to our card for "incidentals" and then they just say it wont be charged when you check out. now i have to wait for my bill to confirm that it wasnt charged!. Polite but fairly reserved staff, Internet connection NOT good Bit pricey for what was provided Shower very temperamental, hot turns to cold suddenly turns back to hot. Something wrong. Breakfast very standard nothing to speak of.room should have been $ 15 less. The television was total junk. Stayed here previously asked clerk for lost cell phone cord, he was fumbling all over couldn't find information, took too long, so I said forget it.!. Spotty wifi in room. The bed has some bugs or something like that. It was all itchy and we (including my kids) could not sleep properly as the bed was so itchy. Looks like some hygiene issues. And I don't think of returning to this hotel in future. The staff were somewhat unfriendly, the room is very dated and a little dirty. Unusual pillows, they are filled with foam chunks making them feel lumpy and hard to get used to sleeping with. But you get what you pay for and we were not expecting much more but this hotel should be rated a 2 star not a 3 star. The STRONG MISTY smell in the room. I hung up my clothes in the closet. My house has the same misty smell after I unpacked when I came home. The washroom had no couter space. The air conditioner was very loud, I used the washroom light as night light but it was connected to a very loud exhaust fan. The tub leaked water. I stayed at Ramada Limited in Vancouver, paid the same price per night. The hotel was much much better. Wifi was aweful very old the stove and oven was maybe 1960 need updating. funny smell breakfast was a joke hard boiled eggs and waffles no alarm clock. Poor Value Very dirty room Funny Smell in room Extremely overdue for an update Uncomfortable beds Old TV.
