Staff was wonderful, we asked directions and he printed us directions and outlined for us. The room was very comfortable and attractive. Great property, close to public transportation. The public transportation in Vancouver is outstanding. Staff were pleasant and professional, room was clean and nicely decorated, breakfast buffet was terrific. Add to that a fantastic location at the base of the North Shore mountains, not far from the Lion's Gate Bridge - excellent value.

This hotel is fairly convenient to the Lion's Gate hospital and close to the Lion's Gate bridge to Vancouver. It also provides a breakfast. Close & convenient. Excellent value for the money. I got what I think I should have got for the money I spent. Location excellent to visit downtown but very quiet. Public transport takes you to main Vancouver sites. Very noisy late arrivals that ran up and down the walkway above us. No problems. not enough towels /shampoo for a party of 4 would be nice to have heavier blanket (as an option). Nothing to dislike. Breakfast choices hot food not hot. Not only they charged me in advance in CAN dollars in my US dollars account but didn´t make me the discount for AAA members. The staff didn´t seem to cared about as long I had already paid. The hotel was old and the breakfast left much to desire. I´ve had been to better motels. . very poor breakfast. Rooms were noisy and the hot breakfast was sub-par. Room attendants lacked consistency - only had complimentary water one night out of 6, cups were only replaced once so I had to go to front desk for replacements and those were glass ones from dining room which we kept in refrigerator so they didn't get taken. Overall, it was passable but wouldn't recommend this hotel for a person seeking a resort. Location is best asset. Could have been cleaner. Parking was tight A bit pricey for the calibre of hotel - to our minds it is actually a motel. beds were too soft for my liking. Carpet not clean enough. Staff at reception. Did not get wake up call that we requested on two occasions. Also 100 dollars debited to my Credit card that was not explained or agreed and is still not resolved at time of this survey. shortage of towels and shampoos. The heater's not working properly. The room stinks. :(. The location of my room, 10 ft from a busy road. The front desk clerk at check in. I had to change my reservation, and he used the term"No-show", in my opinion unacceptable, because it's untrue. I would not subject myself again to such treatment. There were only 2 towels for 4 personns> the refrigirator didn't work and was full of towels to retain all the leaking water in it. Breakfast is very poor and ther is not enough place to seat and eat in a correct way.Very poor place. I won´t be back again.
